Welcome to the 2003 season of Track & Field at Fauquier High School!
To
kick off the year, we are having Family Night on Tuesday, March 25 in the FHS
Cafeteria at 7:00 P.M. This event is so that the student-athletes and their
families have an opportunity to; learn more about the program, meet the
coaches, and meet other track families. This will be a pot-luck dinner, with
items being provided as follows:
- Seniors:
Cold side dishes (fruit, vegetables, deviled eggs, etc.)
- Juniors: Hot side dishes
(vegetables, macaroni & cheese, etc.)
- Sophomores: Main dish
- Freshmen: Dessert
Much
will be discussed and accomplished at this meeting, so we hope you can all make
it.
Things To Do or Prepare For
- Athletic
Codes must be filled out and submitted by the end of Family Night.
- Any
activity fees that may not have been paid yet are due at this time. The
fee is $25 payable to FHS.
- Pictures
will be taken on Wednesday (3/26). The cost for a single picture is $8.
The cost for a single picture along with a team picture is $15. Checks
should be made payable to Donnie Johnston.
- Track
hats are available for $10. These are great for cold-weather running or
general wear. See Coach Jones.
There is a team website with the schedule, nutrition and
training tips, information about the sport, information about the coaches,
results, statistics, and standards for qualifying for postseason meets. The URL
